thejwoodedit.com is operated by thejwoodedit LLC, a florida company (“the j wood edit,” “we,” “us”). by using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. if you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

using our site

you must be at least 18 to place an order. use the site for lawful purposes only, and don’t do anything that could damage it or interfere with other shoppers.

authenticity

every frame we sell is 100% authentic designer eyewear, sourced through established, trusted wholesale channels. we never sell replicas or counterfeits. frames ship with their original case and cleaning cloth; exact packaging and accessories vary by brand and model.

products, pricing & availability

all prices are in us dollars and include free shipping. we may change prices at any time without notice. we do our best to show colors and details accurately, but screens vary.

our collection moves fast and stock updates throughout the day. placing an order doesn’t guarantee availability — if a frame sells out before we can fulfill your order, we’ll let you know and refund you in full, or offer a similar piece if you’d prefer.

orders & payment

by placing an order, you confirm your information is accurate and that you’re authorized to use your payment method. payments are processed securely through stripe and other listed checkout options. we may hold, verify, or cancel any order for reasons including payment problems, suspected fraud, stock errors, or pricing or technical mistakes. if we cancel, you’ll be fully refunded.

shipping

shipping is free on every order. orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (not including weekends and us federal holidays) and ship mainly via ups, sometimes fedex, dhl or usps. you’ll get tracking once your order ships. delivery dates are estimates from the carrier and not guaranteed.

please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we can’t be responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address you provided. for international orders, duties, taxes and customs fees are the customer’s responsibility.

when your order arrives

please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

damaged box or frame: tell us within 3 days of delivery, with photos of the frame, the case, all sides of the shipping box and the label. please keep the box, packaging and frame until your claim is resolved — the carrier may need them.

wrong item or missing accessory: tell us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos.

marked delivered but not received: first check around your door, mailroom, neighbors and anyone who may have accepted it. if it’s still missing, contact us within 3 days of the delivery date. claims for packages stolen after delivery require a police report.

stuck or lost in transit: if tracking stops moving, contact us and we’ll open an investigation with the carrier.

frame fit & adjustments

new frames sometimes need a small adjustment to sit perfectly. slightly bent or uneven temples, or a frame that doesn’t sit perfectly level out of the box, are normal and not defects — any optician can adjust them in minutes, usually for free. damage caused by forcing, overheating or modifying a frame isn’t covered.

prescription lenses

our frames are sold as-is with their original demo or sun lenses. if you have prescription lenses put in, frames that have been fitted with new lenses can’t be returned.

intellectual property

all brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; we are an independent retailer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand we carry. our own logo, photos, text and design belong to the j wood edit and may not be copied without written permission.

limitation of liability

to the extent allowed by law, the j wood edit isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using our site or products. our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item involved.

third-party links

our site may link to other websites. we’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

changes to these terms

we may update these terms at any time. changes are posted here with a new date, and using the site after that means you accept them.

governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of the state of florida, united states.
